1. 1

   The agreement

   These terms are between you and Balogh Zoltán Sándor (“we”), who runs unhingged. They cover unhingged.com and the tools under it — Vizu, Terms, Timeit, Mockit. By using a tool you agree to them. If you use one on behalf of a company, you agree for that company.

   How we handle data is in the privacy policy.

2. 2

   Your account

   One sign-in works across all the tools. Keep it to yourself and keep it secure; what happens under your account is your responsibility. Tell us if you think someone else has got in.

   You need to be old enough to enter into an agreement where you live, and at least 16.

   What you put in

   Your comments, documents, events and answers stay yours. You give us permission to store, copy and display them only as far as it takes to run the tools for you and the people you share them with.

   You are responsible for having the right to put it there — to comment on the page you are reviewing, to upload the document you are publishing, to invite the people you invite.

4. 4

   Fair use

   Don’t use the tools to break the law or to harm anyone. In particular, don’t:

   • try to get into accounts, workspaces or data that are not yours;
   • probe, overload or disrupt the service, or get around its limits;
   • upload malware, or content you have no right to share;
   • record an acceptance in Terms that the person did not actually give.

   API keys are secrets: keep them out of public code, and revoke any that leak. We may apply rate limits.

5. 5

   Terms is not a lawyer

   The Terms tool stores the documents you upload and records who accepted which version. It does not write, review or check them, and nothing about it makes a document valid or enforceable. What your terms and your privacy policy say, and whether they are right for you, is between you and your own adviser.

   Open source

   Some of the code is published for you to use directly — Vizu’s packages, for instance, are on npm under the MIT licence. That code comes under its own licence, not these terms.

7. 7

   The tools will change

   These are small tools that are still being built. We may add, change or remove features, and we may retire a tool altogether; if we do that, we will give reasonable notice and a way to take your data with you. We do not promise any particular level of availability.

   Stopping

   You can stop using the tools at any time, delete what you have made in them, and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk — with notice where we reasonably can.

9. 9

   No warranty, limited liability

   The tools are provided as they are. As far as the law allows, we give no warranties about them, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data arising from their use.

   Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.

    Governing law

    These terms are governed by the law of Hungary, and disputes go to its courts — unless the consumer law of your own country says you can bring them at home, in which case you can.

11. 11

    Changes to these terms

    When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. If a change matters, we will tell you in the tools before it takes effect; carrying on using them after that means you accept the new terms.
